Susser Bank offers Instant Issue Debit Cards, allowing you to receive and start using your new debit card immediately upon opening an account or replacing a lost or stolen card. To receive a new card on demand, visit one of our locations or contact a Client Care team member.

How do I activate my new debit card?

To activate your Susser Bank debit card, call (800) 290-7893.

How do I change my PIN number?

To change your Personal Identification Number (PIN), call (800) 290-7893.

What are the benefits of having a debit card?

  1. Easy to obtain. Once you open an account most institutions will issue you a debit card upon request.
  2. Convenience. Purchases can be made using a contactless or chip-enabled terminal or by swiping the card rather than filling out a paper check.
  3. Safety. You don’t have to carry cash or a checkbook.
  4. Readily accepted. When out of town (or out of the country), debit cards are usually widely accepted (to not have an interruption in service, please make sure to let Susser Bank know when you are going out of town).

How is my debit card protected?

Consumers who use debit cards are protected by the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA)

What do I do if my debit card is stolen or lost?

Please contact Susser Bank immediately at 1 (888) 297-3416 to report your card as lost or stolen.

How do I report unauthorized charges on my debit card?

What are the daily spending and withdrawal limits on my debit card?

Individual spending limits are set for personal and business. Contact a Client Care team member if you need your limits adjusted.

Can I use my debit card while traveling abroad?

Yes, Susser Bank clients may use their debit card when traveling abroad. Contact a Client Care team member to notate your travel dates.

How do I dispute* a charge made with my debit card?

You can dispute a charge made with your debit card either through Susser Bank online banking or mobile app or by calling Susser Bank directly at (817) 987-2400. If you notify us more than 60 days after the charge was made, you could be responsible for the full amount of any transactions that occurred after the 60-day period and before you notify us.

You are liable for unauthorized activity that occurs on your account after you discover it but fail to alert the bank. Tell us your name and account number. Provide clear details to help us identify the transaction(s) in question, such as date, dollar amount and the description.

We will investigate your claim. If we take more than 10 business days to complete the investigation, we will adjust your account for the amount you think is in error so that you may have use of the money during the remainder of our investigation. These provisional funds may be removed depending upon the outcome of our investigation.

Does Susser Bank coordinate automatic payment information updates with vendors when I receive a new card?

Susser Bank offers an Automatic Billing Updater (ABU) Service that allows participating merchants to automatically receive updated card information and ensure automated payments are continued without interruption.
